What is BLASTX?

BLASTX is a non-toxic antimicrobial wound gel, intended for the management of various wounds including second and first degree burns, post-surgical wounds, diabetic foot and leg ulcers, Stage I-IV pressure ulcers, plus grafted and donor sites.

BLASTX utilises patented technology to deconstruct the bacterial biofilm. It destroys bacteria within the gel and defends wounds from reinfection, while maintaining a moist wound environment, which may support fast healing and may reduce scarring.

Use & Dosage

  • Apply liberally to the wound, then cover the wound with a dressing.
  • Reapply with each dressing change.
  • Store between 15-25°C.

Ingredients

Contains: Benzalkonium Chloride 0.13%, Polyethylene Glycol 400, Polyethylene Glycol 3350, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid and Water.

Warnings

  • External topical use only.
  • Do not cover with alginate dressings.
  • Do not ingest.
  • Do not use near eyes.
  • Do not use if you have a history of allergy to any of the ingredients.
